Does anyone know of a good sign company relatively close to Eastern Oregon (Boise?) that will repair neon signs? We and a couple other business in town have neon that...

Terry, talk to Bryon MacDonald. He fixes all sorts of stuff. He's like me, but without the fear of heights.
Rhonda J. replied:
Try Carlson Sign in Bend. They have a guy who is from the Baker area. He might come over and do it. Mark Myers is the name.

When i owned a sign shop I worked w/ Ed Miltonberger from Signmen Neon in Pendleton. Great guy or if you can get the neon to Rocket in Boise, he does a good job. The bad thing w/ DIY is neon is very fragile and you're dealing w/ very high voltage. I'd call Ed 1 st of all.

Do you think the good people at OTECC might help you fix your neon sign? After all, they have linemen who work with all kinds of lights and electrical problems every day. They might be willing to lend you some of their employees to help fix your sign if you ask them. Or they might be able to help you find someone who can fix your neon sign. I would also contact the Baker City Department of Public Works and see if they know of anybody who fixes neon signs. I am willing to bet Public Works or some other department has city electricions who fix at least one or two neon signs for the city. Just a thought!
