Thanks we do have a couple humane societies. I have checked with one so far and they are not too much cheaper then my vet. I have asked a few cat rescues and none of them even knew what calici was. I will check with alley cat allies, we actually adopted a cat from them. Some one told me I should try Penn State Vet but I always thought they were expensive.
Katie K. replied:
Kathie Beth Dreher we have the University of Penn Veterinary school not far away but I was thinking it would be expensive.

We are near Allentown PA which is still a haul, but as I posted earlier, my clinic seems proficient and is a 24/7/365 facility with all inclusive medical technologies including an in house dental facility/technician. 3 cats, full extractions to the root + all the bells & whistles (xray, meds, etc) $1500-2000 for all 3. http://www.creaturecomfortsvet.net/

Try Quakertown Veterinary Hospital. I took my horse there and was very pleased with them.

I do know that if you feel it is worth it and possible to do some travel, you can get top shelf dental care, including extractions, at the award winning Humane Society of NY. Example: A cat we took there would have been $1,000 for partial extraction and we paid $240 a the Humane Society of NY and this included getting a microchip, all blood work, everything. And he was a very sick cat with FIV on top of it all. http://www.humanesocietyny.org/

I posted today about my awesome vet Dr Lenz at All Bay Animal Hospital in Concord. Mention yelp reviews and your first visit is FREE ( office visit only) For vaccinations the animal shelter in Martinez has low cost vaccines ( I know the rabies vaccine for a year was $6 a year ago) has some low cost vaccines and Furry Friends Food Relief Program which you can find on Facebook helps with food once a month and offers vaccines for $5 each and microchips for $10. They are in Brentwood and the next clinic is December 20. Food distribution is in Martinez and I think Brentwood ( not positive about Brentwood) probably in early December for the next one. In case you have either a pitbull or pitbull mix or chiuauaua or chiuauaua mix ARF will spay/nueter for $50 it just takes a long time to get an appointment. In case you need more information PM me.

Dr Lenz will also help you work with your budget.

Yeah if she has chihuahua in her they will neauter her for 40$ witch is waaaaay cheaper than a regualr vet . The neautering program is offerd by the ASPCA. You would have to travel to oakland . But the hospital was great ! My pittbull recoverd within 2 weeks with no need of a cone or ahything . I would recommend them just got to ASPCA.com
