Please can someone recommend where I can get my child's feet measured (& buy new shoes) that is not Clarks. Thanks!

Louisa Reeve, Teddy has difficult feet to fit so we have explored lots of options. Online is way cheaper but it only works if your child has really standard feet and needs no careful assessment so sadly it's not an option for us. I can't recommend the independent shoe shop on the corner of Old Town in Swindon highly enough. They are brilliant and now we always go there and get Start Rite shoes as they are better quality than Clarks (we were told this by a show fitter. Apparently Clarks has gone more down the fashion route where as Start Rite still prioritise quality). Yes it's cripplingly expensive, but we see it as an investment in his health and we only have the one pair if shoes for him to wear every single day to compensate. Brantano were good in Swindon but you can't beat the independent in Old Town in my opinion.
