I'm seeing Dr Neely Dean with St. Francis obgyn.. I love her. And there are others in the same office. And you can still deliver at either hospital with any of them.
Ashley C. replied:
I love Dr. McPherson at St. Francis but any of their doctors are amazing! They all also deliver at both St. Francis and the Medical center and let you pick. I told them I wanted to deliver at the Medical Center because of the NICU (I had the textbook perfect pregnancy almost but I didn't want to chance that slight chance of being separated from my baby if something went wrong) and they were more than accommodating.

My doctor was great! Dr. Eikleberry at St. Francis.
I would like some recommendations of a great OBGYN! Who is not booked all the time and doesn't operate through a switchboard system. I need someone who knows their stuff...
Michelle S. replied:
Dr. McPherson at OBGYN associates. They're in the Butler Pavilion at St. Francis. I delivered at St. Francis and had amazing care. One of my nurses, a wonderful lady named Melissa, was such a breath of fresh air. I had an emergency c-section, and she was the best nurse on their staff.
Audrey S. replied:
Dr. Serena Tidwell. She delivered 2 or my 3 kids. I absolutely loved her and her staff.

Michelle S. replied:
I wouldn't see Eikelberry. McPherson, however. She's fantastic. Or Dr. Cheek. Eikelberry had been my OBGYN for the past 10 ish years. My last pregnancy, he didn't do any ultrasounds, and didn't listen to me when I told him I was in an incredibly high amount of pain. He stuck his finger into an opening in my incision at my 2 week post partum check up with zero warning or explanation. He's old, he's been in the practice forever. He's definitely burning out. I wouldn't let him treat my dog.

I had a normal pregnancy and paid a total of $35.00 and this was just for the stay in the hospital. Everything else was covered. I loved it! I used Dr Villegas, he is a great doc.
Ashley M. replied:
I have had three children on standard and all three were c-sections. The first had several complications and with a 5 day hospital stay, I paid $60. Most recently delivered at St. Francis (amazing) total cost was $35. Well child visits are covered if you keep your little on standard too. Only sick visits charge and it's not a ton. But kids can stay on prime. I used Dr. Thorne at OBGYN Assoc. he is amazing. Best bed side manner ever!! Good Luck!!
