Hotel recommendations? Where can I stay in Phnom Penh that's safe? Not looking for anything fancy or they'll break my bank account. Any nice ones you would recommend?...

What area do you want to stay in (or what kind of area), and how much do you want to spend? "Breaking the bank" is pretty subjective. There are a few Frangipani (name of the small chain) hotels around, and they are pretty decent for the price. Note that if you're staying 3 weeks you might be able to get a discount if you write any guesthouse you might choose to stay at.

I stayed at Khmer Cuisine Bed & Breakfast and was really happy. It's not exactly central, which can be a good thing if you are a looking for something a little quieter. They will pick you up at the airport or bus stop free of charge , offer free rides to the main street, arrange tours that are not overpriced, and provide breakfast for you. The place is budget friendly, but the staff was super nice and made the guests feel like they were staying in higher end accommodation. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g297390-d3670557-Reviews-Khmer_Cuisine_Bed_Breakfast-Siem_Reap_Siem_Reap_Province.html

Hi! Here's my recommendations: Mondulkiri-stay at Phnom Penh, Cambodia' class='name_reco'>Nature Lodge and you can organize treks and other adventures from there. If you choose to stay in Kampong Cham town the night before, there are many places on the riverfront (Mekong Hotel) or a little off from the Riverfront is Leap Mongkol Guesthouse that's owned by a Past LCF's family. Siem Reap: Phnom Penh, Cambodia' class='name_reco name_reco_color name_reco_color_0'>Golden Banana is a good hotel with a pool and delicious breakfast! It's near the night market, walkable distance from most places. Phnom Penh: Khmer Surin Boutique Hotel (off street 63, close to PPC). They have great breakfast and fancy rooms. I don't have tuk tuk numbers or names anymore, but hopefully that will help! Enjoy family time in the 'Bode!

The family that owns the Seng Hout is great, but the Khemera II is the best in terms of amenities and it is $15 per night. It is the best hotel in Cambodia in that price range in my opinion.

Hoi An is an amazing place full of amazing food, and is ten minutes away from a beautiful beach. I'm going back to get clothes there after my service is done cause it's really good for that as well. Nha Trang is also pretty cool; more of a bar/party town.
Can anyone recommend a nice and clean hotel in sihanoukville with reasonable rtes ($25-$30)? Thanks!

Holiday Palace has rooms for $30 a night. It is really nice and clean. It has a casino attached, but you don't even have to see the casino. The rooms open up into a courtyard that heads to the beach.
