Also, I found if you are going to sihanoukville with a large group a taxi is better, otherwise you can go to phnom penh then take a bus from there.

I used hipmunk.com to book my ticket. You can compare a variety of flights from a variety of airlines and sort them according to whatever factors are important to you (for me, it was cost and short stop-overs).

I used onetravel.com and got a round trip on the day of travel for just under $1500. Sihanoukville from Kampot was $5 by taxi and took just under 2 hours.

To Sihanouk Vl, take Mekong Express. This bus will go straight there with no stop at all whereas others will stop for 30 mns halfway. The station is just opposite the Titanic restaurant.

The Beach House is wonderful, right opposite the beach and a short walk from the crab market.

Kevin - do they want a guide with that? I just took my parents to Siem Reap and we did a two-day tour of the temples and several museums with a driver and a guide. The guide was AMAZING. Best English I've heard in almost 2 years in Cambodia, and really knowledgeable. Call Panha by 012 597 168, 016 344 166, he will arrange a car for you. One way will cost ~50USD. You can ask to arrange Camry 2003 that is quite ok for this trip.

One alternative is to share a taxi with others. Let a TukTuk bring you to the Taxistation at Phsaa Tmei in PP. Ask there for shared Taxi to SHV. Backseat normally 15$, front 20$. Nearly same comfort, much cheaper.
