Wow, I am so sorry, it is so sad that we the consumers are so price gouged. I go to Dr. Shanaka Weerasooriya (he went to school with our younger daughter). It is Tarpon Coast Dental. I had to have a tooth extracted and he sent me to a specialist in North Port, that at the moment I cannot think of his name, but that is where Dr. Weerasooriya send his patients for extraction. I don't remember it being too overpriced.

I had to have a tooth pulled that abscessed overnight, after Chemo. I was referred to Dr Patricia Scott in Pt C. She did it same day & was inexpensive. 941-625-8500

Wife raves about Forster Davis Roberts & Boeller Dental on South McCall. If you need an endodontist, I recommend Radiance Endodontics in Venice and, finally, if you need an oral surgeon, I highly recommend Cara Overbeck in Venice. All have websites.

South County Dental in Tiffany Square is great....younger dentist, not expensive like Forster, Davis, etc.

Panther Hollow Dental Quesda Ave. in Port Charlotte. Outstanding Drs., assistants, hygenists and office staff. After 50 yrs with the same dentist back home, this wasn't easy, so happy with Dr. Bender.
