Kinkaids number is 762-6314 not sure if that's their after hours emergency number. But it will give you the emergency number on vm if it's not... Good luck. Give the pup pedia light until you can get him seen. The key is hydration.

Get a syringe and give him pedia light or gator aid.. He won't like it but that's what will save him if you can't get him into a vet right away. Dr. Kincaid is the best. Top notch care. Good luck:) .

I recommend Taylor Olfield clinic out on hwy 60 by the bridge. Really like dr. Bowman there. Also was with Dr. free at the vet clinic in Newkirk when we lived there for a few years. Really liked him too.

Interesting comments. I am going to make some statements and do not expect me to argue who is a good vet or not. Don't use the Blackwell Vet. Was treated rudely by a previous female vet. A couple of years ago heard they had a great new vet in to help... Was that a joke. Lack of care and talking rudely about my dogs behavior a few days under their care. Called because the Blackwell vet was too busy with other activities to see my dog, called Kinkaid's and they saw him immediately. His bloodwork was already off the chart and even worse a few days later. Nope Kinkaid's could not have saved him even if seen a few days earlier but would have stood a better chance of a couple days of better quality to say a proper goodbye. As for the Tonkawa clinic... They had done surgery for some lumps a year prior to his illness. Was never told of any oddities in bloodwork. But just that the vet thought the lumps did not look benign. Of course back then I was not as smart regarding dog issues.I also learned at Kinkaid's that this did not happen overnight. I truly feel that if Kinkaid's would have done the lump removal surgery and sent off a tissue sample for a path report. There would have been measures to slow down the kidney disease and our dog had a chance to live a quality life a bit longer.
