They made it almost impossible when they canceled all doctors outside of the 50 mile radius of the base. We've been bouncing around from dr. to dr. trying to find one that is attentive and actually cares. Right now, we are seeing Dr. Capone at Gulf Coast Medical Center http://www.gcmc1.com/ . The reason we picked them is because its pretty much a one stop shop..lol. You don't have to go elsewhere for blood-work and stuff & if you need to see a specialist, they have some of those too.

... call tricare south. They will give you a list of the nearest clinics/hospitals/doctors/whatever you need and they will set you up. I have been going to Adel Bishay. Outstanding service and a very intelligent and friendly man. That's for prime. Standard will likely offer more options but that's really up to you guys, what you are eligible for and what you want. But like I said, all you have to do is give tricare a call. In the last 6 years I have dealt with them they have always helped me out and I always hang up happy with them. They can make life ridiculously easy.
