Dr Graydon Coon! He is really great and has a wonderful personality ! Not too bad to look at either! LOL 327-6100 he's located on Milham just down from Portage Commerce Bank just after the railroad tracks on the right.:)

I use Dr. Hosner on center next to Mspa. I went to college with him and his wife, as did David Rhoa further up this response! David and I were classmates at K college, unless there are two David Rhoas floating around. I also went to high school with Pam LaClair...hi Pam! Small world! High school and college years all brought together on Heidi's FB wall! Haha

Dr Stomstra--right down the street (on Center). I am not kidding Heidi-they are the best! Even with the kids. And they are honest about what needs to be done!

Dr. Flachs has being my dentist since I was 6 and him and his staff are sooo nice and loving! it's at the corner of centre and 12 th! I love it!

come see me Heidi, we are known for being super gentle and Mark is very conservative and ethical as well! Richardson family dentistry, it is worth the drive! If you want Portage, go to Scot Stromsta, I sub alot there, they are wonderful!!! Very friendly too!

David Cooley does a GREAT job. Very knowledgeable, gentle, and conservative in his approach. He is located in Trestlewood across from Loy Norix High School. Good luck with your search.

We use Dr Schimp. He's on Oakland across from the big church by the freeway entrance. He's very gentle, down to earth, doesn't offer unnecessary treatments. His hygienists are great too.

My husband and I left Spurr for Dr. Jorie Harris at Building Functional Esthetics. She is amazing. At Spurr’s office we felt like we were being sold products at every visit and If we said no we were made to feel guilty. My husband also was told a spot in his mouth could be a watch and wait spot. When we got to Dr. Harris she explained after 360° x-rays that he actually needed a crown to prevent him needing a root canal. We still go to the dentist twice per year with the same insurance but now without the extra unnecessary add ons our insurance covers the entire cost. As a side note - I’m terrible about dentists. I have a severe dentist phobia and getting my teeth cleaned makes me irrationally terrified. The hygienists at Dr. Harris’ office are so nice. They work quickly and they give me time prompts that let me know how much time each step will take and how much time is remaining. They also skip the final polishing step because it’s optional and I hate it.

Fichter McDougal on Gull Road. They are awesome and SUPER friendly!

If you are low income Family Health Center on allcot (269) 349-2641. They got me in next day for cleaning and next week for what ended up being a pull. (pull was free, recap that couldn't be done but was what ever insurance covers) Due to covid I don't know about appt.

Oshtemo Family Dentistry, hands down. I have TERRIBLE dental visit anxiety, and needed extensive work done, and they have been incredible. I no longer panic about going, and the cosmetic work that they’ve done has been beautiful. Couldn’t recommend more!

Dr. Leonard (he's on Stadium - little west of 9 th Street) is amazing. The office staff is super nice, and Dr. Leonard really knows his stuff (the genetic lottery was not kind to me when it came to teeth...).

I go to Gentle Dentistry on W. Main and I was pleasantly surprised when I went. Super nice staff, really nice facility, actually genuinely cared about my needs and concerns. Real sense of pride and teamwork amongst the staff and they really knew what they were doing.

I have had really terrific experiences with West Kalamazoo Dental Care and Dr. Bonine, in particular. The staff are kind and respectful and Dr. Bonine is careful and patient.

Before I moved out of state, I was going to West Wind Dental (on Milham, I think). Dr. Smith was fantastic and the staff was super nice.

Do NOT go to west wind dental on milham. I’ve been very unhappy with their service since the new fr took over. Have been hit with multiple invoices bc insurance doesn’t cover something. Wasn’t covered bc the billing wasn’t done for five months after date of service.

I really like Dr. Schimp on Oakland. His daughter recently graduated from dental school and is working there too. I switch back and forth between them depending on who's available. It's the best of both worlds - I get his years of experience, plus his daughter knows all of the latest and greatest guidelines and has fresh knowledge.

Keith Konvalinka DDS on Stadium. Great with kids and adults alike. Also, he wears a bow-tie and has an office dog. Awesome.

Daniel J Bryton in portage. Great guy very friendly staff.

We LOVE Lindenwoods Dental. Dr. Carrie is great and they have done a spectacular job with our 2.5 year old. And it's a family practice so we all go there! The whole staff is spectacular.

Dr. Margaret Martlew on Whites and her hygienists are wonderful, imo. She generally sees littles starting at three but gladly looked at my girls as toddlers because of their problem teeth.

Toothie update! I called some of the recommended then called my DDS and he was the only one who could get me in today. Turns out it was a crown, not a filling, and if I'd brought it with me he might have been able to re-cement it. BUT...I didn't bring it (would have been good to know, Ms Receptionist) and since I've had knee surgery, I can't get anything done without taking antibiotics first. So...careful eating this weekend, massive dental work Monday. Yeah, I had a few little cavities. Getting it all done then
