On a semi-related topic, am I crazy, or did there used to be a place at NE 7 th & Fremont that had wigs and stereo equipment? Did I dream that? I hope the therapy goes for well for you OP!!

Hi there. I've been to both the one in Beaverton and also Wigland around Lloyd. I'd say to try Wigland first as they have a wider selection of both styles and brands. The one out in Beaverton is mostly Rene of Paris, which is a great wig brand, but you'll find more options at Wigland.

You might check out [Brenda Kay Hair Specialties](https://www.bkhair.com/chemotherapy) on SW 1 st Avenue near PSU. More than just a wig shop, they specialize in situations like yours. Best of luck to you. (P.S. They do not recommend shaving your head.)

Wigland all the way! You can get a private room and they can trim/cut them to shape your face. The owner is awesome. Maybe think about getting a spare too if you plan on wearing it for awhile. They can get frizzy and Wigland can recondition them so they look (almost) brand new. Best of luck to you!

Mid K Beauty, down MLK, they have awesome synthetic/mix lace front wigs from $50-100 and human ones that are a little more pricey $200-300 I’ve purchased both and both held up very well.

There used to be one in Beaverton in the strip mall with the Safeway at Murray and Allen. It would be to the left of the liquor store if it's still there. I haven't had the occasion to be out there for a few years but that seems like the sorta thing that would never move.
