My cousin repairs my appliances. Mark's (Lampert) Appliance Repair. I have heard that he has a good reputation and many good things from other people. Not just my opinion. Call him at 436-8882 and leave a message, assuming that it is his answering machine picks up. He may have an idea what the problem could be with your description. Good luck.
