Mexican on Kramarska - ble. The tinned veggies and thug-lite service really don't cut it anymore. Try Cactus Factoria on ul. Ślusarska 5. Spot on for the other recommendations, though:)

Depending on your budget - http://www.ratuszova.pl/en/ does decent Polish food, I recommend the Wild Boar #delicious. Another higher budget restaurant is Le Targ in the Stary Browar, best beef burger I've had in Poznan:) For a tighter budget I would recommend http://www.baraboo.pl/ they do great Italian style pizza cooked in a proper pizza oven. In terms of history, the new museum by the Cathedral is worth a shout (the big white box). I took my friend there in October and it's a nice interactive tour, although, be aware; if you do the tour properly it could take some serious time...

Francja Elegancja is a good place to go for a bit of French cuisine enriched with some of the best Polish ingredients. The menu is quite simple but it gives you a few choices, and the prices are quite reasonable.:)
