I need recommendations for:
1. A great wood finishing contractor for finishing our knotty cypress cabinets.
2. A carpenter that can help get us finished since we fired...

Did anyone use a company besides window world to replace windows? Got an estimate from them yesterday but would like to know if anyone found a cheaper route.
Zach S. replied:
Just so yall know Window world set my buddies house on fire when they were hired to take care of their windows. Did a whole lot of damage and window world is giving them H £/\ on helping out and correcting their mistake. Sean Michel
Tammy L. replied:
Today is the 5 th day that I'm waiting for window world to show up to install my last 2 windows. I was supposed to hear from them between 8 and 10 and once again, haven't heard a word. Would not recommended Window World.
Sally L. replied:
We used Window World before the flood. Our windows lasted through the flood. They were fast & very professional. Not sure how much we paid. It might've been around $4300?? But, well worth it. Lifetime warranty.
Nacole C. replied:
We had great experience with Window World as well. Windows came in and were install quicker than expected. I had 3 quotes and they were the cheapest. We had 15 installed and pd $5100. Windows look beautiful! Lots of different prices on here, but im sure all different sizes, etc.
Richard G. replied:
We used LAS...They were more expensive than Window World and Relief Windows, but they have their own people install them. Very happy with the product and the install
Ernie W. replied:
We looked at both companies and relief has a better product and uses higher end materials. Relief Windows. Ask for Nycole Herbison.
Julie T. replied:
Relief Windows
Debbie P. replied:
Relief Windows. Not necessarily cheaper, but great service.
Wanda B. replied:
Uncle Shawn put ours in Moosey. Got them from Picous for about $1300.. They not hard to put in on a house like yours. Just got to measure right.

I'm a contractor and home flipper. I have used several companies and I find Window World to be the best value. I've seen Acadian Windows install at homes I was remodeling and they do a good job as well. Expect 3-4 week lead times and you shouldn't have to pay the balance till complete.
Pamela D. replied:
We had a good experience with Window World. $3200 for 11 windows
Robbin D. replied:
Acadian windows in Laplace great windows with lifetime warranty and if u sell your house it follows the new owners
Jordan B. replied:
Relief windows. Plus it's a lifetime warranty
Brenda C. replied:
We have window world and had great service before flood and after flood. My dad also went with window world and had great service. Their warranty is awesome and if you sell your home the warranty is transferable. The new homeowner would only have to pay $50 to transfer warranty. I would strongly suggest Window World.
Christy D. replied:
Relief Windows--excellent job and great service.
Marla M. replied:
Don't use Window World. They sub contract out to other companies...one of which started my nephews house on fire. And of course there is an issue in settling.
Dee T. replied:
We used Window World had very good installation and clean up when done. Had a window hit by rock and called with the number of that window and in a few days they came replaced window with no question asked. Life time warranty
Mandy D. replied:
Acadian windows was cheaper for us and the warranty is what made us go with a company instead of doing it ourselves. Replacement no matter what happened
Blair H. replied:
We looked at pretty much every option. Relief windows is great quality but was almost $1500 more than window world. We decided not to do ourselves because removing and installing replacement windows can be a huge pain.. plus you don't get the warranty.
Judy F. replied:
Julie and Derrick used Relief Windows. Did a great job!
Billy R. replied:
Most of the people r just changing the glass in frames which is a lot cheaper , give me a call at RDV glass-Billy 312-8486 an let me get a quote thanks..
