Hello Jaimie, Sad to see this post and to report that there are too many amateurs and fly by night characters in this business. Not all water based sealers are all bad but none are really good either. Asphalt is an oil based product and should be sealed with one. We use only High Quality Oil based products designed to penetrate and restore not lay on top like cheap latex glue base (waterbased) sealer. As a young (at least at heart) Driveway contractor also driving a black truck it concerns me that readers might confuse me for the other aforementioned. With regard to recommendation of a good contractor well... Yours truly:) I have more than fourteen years in the business and can honestly say I have always treated all as well as I could.
