I will never take my medium sized dog back to TLC Dog Grooming. Granted She went to her with burrs and matts that my dog would not let me get out after a camping trip. So yes a lot more work and I was willing to pay. But when I went to pick her up she's in a travel crate with the drier running and no groomer around. My dog was still damp and still had matts and burrs in her hair. She wasn't brushed out. As she still had matts and there was no fur to be seen in the grooming room or on the groomer. My dog has a dbl coat and has enough fur to make a coat from. My last groomer was covered in her hair when she let me take her home and my dog glistened from head to toe. Yes I did cut out some of the matts but she "trimmed her tail legs and withers". I paid her the money but when I went home I was so upset I went back and the lady agreed to fix her but all she did was spend five mins and combed her out a little. Never ever going back.

Hello I would like an opportunity to clear my name. First of all I guarantee customer satisfaction for all of my services or money is returned ( when a person lets me know what the problem is). When a dog is badly matted and with many burs I advise that the kindest thing to do is shave the dog down. Double coated dogs need a lot of grooming by the owner for matts not to occur,this is achieved by using the line brushing technique. When a dog needs to be dematted I only go as long as the dog will tolerate. I was advised that the dog was anxious and aggressive with other dogs so I was careful not to stress the dog. In the summer I am very careful not to overheat a dog by blow drying in enclosed areas or drying a dog too long, so yes a dog maybe a slightly damp. I am never far from the dogs in my care, I was just inside the door having dinner. I take dogs any time to accommodate the owners work schedual. This one was with me from 4 pm until after 6. I wear a grooming apron when I work and I clean my dog grooming room after each dog. I am sorry you are not satisfied and you can come and get your money refunded. Thankyou Marcy of TLC Dog Grooming
