I agree with Stephanie Richmond's choice of foods. I feed Nature's Variety Instinct Chicken with raw bits (look for this - it's much better than the new version of their chicken without it). I also have used Wellness CORE and current use Orijen cat food in my mix, which a ferret vet uses for her ferrets.

A mix of 2 foods is always best. My friend Cathy who runs a ferret sanctuary mainly used Totally Ferret, all kinds, Turkey Lamb Venison, Active and Baby Formulas and she has 9 yr olds. I do like the idea of mixing in the Orijen Cat/Kitten or Natures Variety a Instinct with Raw Boost. Variety is the spice of life & health ;)

Bureau Valley Vet will accept payments as long as you talk to them first. they are really good too. I actually take mine to the Princeton Animal Care Clinic but they are more expensive. so major stuff like when Papi got heart worms he goes to Bureau valley vet

They are really good with working with the payments. Papi heartworm treatment was 500. I believe I paid 100 down and worked on the rest over the following months. Princrton Animal Care Clinic wanted 900.
