I don't know what you've already tried, but when Joel was that age his eczema was allergy caused. Gluten, apples and our nickel door handles and faucets caused him to break out. We saw Dr Patel for testing and a NAET Dr for treatment. I hope he heals quickly either way!

Hey Megan, Paisley has the dog allergy plus eczema. We saw Dr Patel (allergy specialist) and he had us take all lotions and soaps away except for hair and genitals. We use Vaseline as lotion plus he gave us a corticosteroid ointment that works wonders when she has a breakout. We haven't seen any dermatologists in the area.
