Depending on the type of laptop I'd say have a look at doing it yourself, some can be surprisingly easy and you'd save a good bit. If you've no interest in that or its too difficult, I've heard good things about PC Services.

The place on Castle Street is A1. Can't think of the name of it, but it's the orange-fronted shop across the road from that building that collapsed a few years back.

There is a place called IT Central on Castle Street (thats the street that links north main street to the blue McD's), I had to get my fan replaced, when they got the part they had it fitted in a few hours and I picked it up good as new then. Was cheap enough, can't remember how much exactly but they are really nice people inside there.

I've always used [Cork Computer Clinic](http://www.cccit.ie/). They've generally been reasonable and good to deal with. EDIT: Right, don't go there so.
