It depends what you and your wife like to do as to what tourist attractions to recommend but I own a dive centre in Bugibba. If you would like to try diving then do get in touch either through my profile or https://www.facebook.com/198944793603022 Corsair Diving Malta. Malta has stunning clear waters with plenty of life and even as a novice you can visit one of the many historical shipwrecks around the island. Enjoy your trip!

Malta is an all year round destination so never an out of season period. The majority of places are open with just the odd one closed for refurbishment. Have a look at Ta Paula opposite db San Antonio on Tourist Street, Incognito up from Trolles supermarket, The Plum Tree or Overflow just up from Santana Hotel, Qawra. Wander around and see what takes your fancy and budget. Enjoy your holiday.

We've been luckily this last seven weeks with buses as none been overcrowded and been on time. Take care with your personal belongings, as you would at home, on the buses as when they are crowded been reports of theft. I'll attach link to bus website. With only being here a weekend either purchase your tickets on the bus or purchase a 12 single journey card which all your party can use. Visit Valletta and Mdina. Both have loads of photo opportunities. Plenty of bars and restaurants in Bugibba/Qawra which are part of St Paul's bay. Enjoy your brief visit. https://www.publictransport.com.mt/en/bus-card-and-ticketing
