I have had the same odd experience with 4 companies. The longer you stay with them, the higher your rates go. Just plan on switching every 4 years. I went from American Family to Allstate last, and just recently my Allstate premiums hit 450/month. I switched again to country companies and am back down to 250.

Amy Sawicky It never hurts to shop around and get at least 3 qoutes. Go over the coverages, each company has different discounts, and customer service satisfaction. Claims customer service satisfaction is huge. It all depends on what your needs are. Kathy, we are new to Arizona. Also in San Tan Valley. We had State Farm in Oklahoma and never had any problem with them and no one could touch their rates. So, we didn't see any reason to not go with them until our loan officer advised us that the quote we turned in for the purchase of our new home was high, that we needed to shop. (It was considerably less than Oklahoma) We took his advice and found American Family Insurance here in STV. They beat State Farm by approx another $550 a year.

I have had State Farm literally all my life (my dad was an agent), and I have never had a problem with them. The premium may be a little higher, but the service has always been fast and good. We go to Phillip Borgia in the Walmart center.
