I bought the Kamuning Bakery, but your aunt Letty's son Ted Javier is still my business partner as minority shareholder, because I wanted to retain the link to history and tradition. Your great-grandparents' pre-war Los Banos Bakery was quiote famous. One suki customer was newspaper tycoon Don Alejandro Roces, the ally of Pres. Quezon and father of Manila Times boss Chino Roces. It was the elder Roces who invited your great-grandparents to open a branch of Los Banos Bakery in the new city called Quezon City, they sent their daughter Atty. Leticia Bonifacio Javier, but instead of opening a branch, she created her own brand and logo with "Kamuning Bakery" as the first bakery in Quezon City's first barangay in 1939. \
