We rented a fantastic place in NC through VRBO.com, Vacation Rentals By Owner. You can search by location and I'm sure there are lots in the Myrtle area.

We used VRBO and found a beautiful condo to stay in while in Orlando. I wouldn't do a hotel ever again. There wasn't one thing I could say that is bad/negative in any way about the place & it was about the same price wise as if we *had* stayed in a hotel . Had experience with Weaver Realty, now name has changed, but they own many apts in area (Tanglwood, Hunters Glen, etc) and they purport to not discriminate but they do. They refused a service dog.
