Fred Anderson Toyota? Okay guys, I know I have made a few posts about car edealership, but please don't get mad at me...this is our 1st time buying a car and we are very...

Had a good experience at Fred Anderson. I would absolutely not recommend Marc Jacobs. Pushy sales tactics and hugely inflated pricing. Granted, this wasn't used, but I'm sure it's only worse there. Whatever you do, make sure you do your homework on the KBB value of the car and have a reasonable price in mind. Expect to pay additional taxes and fees on top of that too.

I purchased a car from Fred Anderson Nissan. I got a used certified Nissan and in the family plan. So far, I've been happy, but I've also budgeted for car maintenance and haven't been over that yet. I did have an issue with the finance lady. She tried getting us to finance with them, but I had a good interest rate with the credit union. It was so good, that the lady insisted that I was mistaken. I showed her my paperwork for the loan and she explained that the rate was low due to auto-draft. I thought it was unprofessional.

My wife's Camry came from there. I'd buy from them again, if I'm looking for a Toyota.

The salesman I dealt with there was shady AF, I'll never go back.

First time buying a new car or a car in general? If you don't care about new/used I'd try to figure out which car in particular you want, and then buy that from a private seller on Craigslist/etc. after having a mechanic inspect it.

I bought both my cars from Fred Anderson Toyota. We have the family plan and have really had no issues. I would suggest if you buy from them to find a service tech you like and just request them each time you bring the car in though.

I have had 2 great experiences with them. The first was buying a prius and it went very smooth.
The second we leased a new 4Runner and again had a smooth experience. We did lots of research and got a really good deal. 11 months later my wife was hit by a 16 year old not paying attention and the car was totaled (everyone was okay!). It was my first experience with a claim on a leased car. In my case the insurance company paid off the remainder of the lease and we were left without a car. I was worried it was going to be a hassle to renegotiate a lease and find a new car. I called Fred Anderson Toyota and explained the situation. Without negotiating they said they would give us an almost identical lease on 4runner a year newer than the one we had. The only reason for the slight increase ($7) was because the MSRP on the new car was a few hundred dollars more than the one we totaled. All this happened over the phone in about 10 mins. They assured me when we came in to sign they would have everything ready and it would be quick. We were in and out in 1.5 hours!! Basically cut the signing time in half to help us out.
But, keep in mind this is one of the mega dealerships in the area with a hundred or so sales people. I'm sure it isn't too hard to find someone who won't give you the same experience I got. Good Luck

My dad has purchased several Toyotas from FA and swears he got the best possible deal on each one (and he is a bona-fide cheapskate). I bought a truck from them several years ago and felt they were just another dealer. Nothing bad, but nothing special. YMMV

Absolutely horrible experience there. Will never go back.

Just bought from them on Saturday! It was a good experience but too early to comment on service and such.

We purchased 2 vehicles from Fred Anderson Kia. One new, one certified used. Very satisfied and utilize family plan for preventive maintenance.

You can also look at LeithCars.com and it will show you all Preowned inventory for all their dealerships. The folks at Leith are good people. Can recommend folks to help you at dealership if you need help.
