We just had a guy come look at our chimney, Brett at Classic Chimney Sweeps.. He was super knowledgable, extremely helpful and was cheaper than the other guys. Even texted my husband to let him know he was on his way.
Can anyone recommend a chimney sweep? Never had a house with a chimney before, what should I budget for the initial service? Thanks!

Chimney Plus is very through, and a bit more expensive - $225 to come out with a camera, send it up the chimney, clean and inspect it all. I have also used Carolina Chimney - around $50 i think, but very low-tech (guy and flashlight). Hope that helps!
