I am an early childhood educator and my best advice to you is to make a list of what you want her experience in preschool to be. Our community has many wonderful programs and they all have unique offerings. Three is a great age to get her into an early education program as it will provide life long confidence and wonderful stepping stones to success in primary education. I teach at Knowledge Beginnings in Wakefield and encourage to stop by anytime for a tour! Good luck in your search

Bridges and Beyond its not far from Kohl's and we are an intimate private preschool from 9-12:00. In most programs, your daughter barely makes the cutoff. We offer 3 days for our 3 year olds, but we also have an older TWOS that is 2 days per week. We would love to show you around! We only have 6-8 per class and students visit different rooms each day! We are about to sign our son up at Heritage Children's Academy and I feel the prices are very reasonable. Maybe a little higher than local churches, but not much. However, even the part time kids get a snack and a lunch..included in price. And, they are open all year, so if you wanted to continue in summer you can.

Wake Forest Child Care on Main St is AWESOME!! We had our son there from 6 weeks until he started Kindergarten this year. When he started there it was a one star center and they have just been upgraded to a 4 star center! Shelly, the owner, is wonderful and the teachers and staff are very caring. If you go by there you can tour the center and meet the teachers in each room. Price while we were there were only raised once and it was by $10. When we left, 3 and up was $130 a week. If you want more info you can PM me.

I'm on the board of the North Carolina Professional Association of Nannies. Have her get in touch! general@ncpan.org goes to all of the board, or she can reach me directly at treasurer@ncpan.org. I'm also a nanny with a decade of experience. We have an upcoming event: National Nanny Training Day RTP. It will be an excellent event to learn the changes in certain areas of child care, gain new skills, network in the area, and interact with several placement agencies. One of our sponsors is also providing gratis headshots for portfolios or profiles. http://nntd.ncpan.org Note: North Carolina Professional Association of Nannies isn't a placement agency. We are to nannying in North Carolina what the NC BAR Association is to lawyering in North Carolina: an industry support group. We have several agency affiliates who post jobs to an entirely voluntary jobs board, as well as member nannies who post word of mouth jobs. Select Sitters (above) is one of our affiliates:)
