Does anyone know a good patent attorney in Raleigh? As in someone you can pay for legal advice to ask the question of how not to get ripped off if you have a good idea.
Not in Raleigh but she may be able to assist and is reasonable for those of us with limited budgets. http://www.amclegal.net/

reading between the lines, sounds like you have an idea that you want to take to potential partners/investors/mentors and such without fear of having the idea stolen. if this is the case, a good confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement is what you need and i would start with your regular business attorney. if a patent attorney is really what you want, i have worked a lot with Mike Sajovec at Myers Bigel in Raleigh. local all-IP firm; best around. their office is behind crabtree.
