We go fit kay brow no contract and only £15 a month unless you want personal training on top! So you can go as many times as you want and still afford to go to the baths!suits a busy person as if you can't make it for a while you are not in a contract to be paying for something you can't attend! And when people are not in a contract they find they keep it up so I've heard! Alison Posy Shedwick will give you an assessment and there is no commitment! Most gyms have you signing a contract and then there's no personal contact unless you pay more for a one to one!

I'm a member of the Old Mill gym and it's nice and quiet but the pool is a little small... I've just set up this group today and had nearly 300 members join. Called in at Old Mill, it's extra cost to use the facilities at The Bolholt and you need Gold Membership to use the gym on weekday evenings. I've opted for Ramsbottom Pool as it seems the best value for money. Thanks to all for guidance and advice

My daughter (only 8 yrs) has a selection of sports shop stuff, but when I went into Primark Bury the other day for some school tights for her I noticed that there was some quite nice looking gym style stuff in there for kids. Didn't look at it properly but it looked ok to me - may be worth a shot! Xx
