Can anyone recomend a used bike shop in Portland? I'm looking to pick up a playa bike on my way back from SOAK.

Washington County Community Bike Co in Hillsboro. Volunteer run. Impound bikes fixed and sold at crazy good prices. I've bought 10 burn bikes there for me and friends over the past 5 years.

Two other good options: 1) NE Portland: Bike Farm is yet another good option -- also nonprofit & all-*volunteer-run*; they're just off NE MLK, on Wygant. I believe you can buy used bikes there; and they teach folks how to fix their bikes ($5/hr or $20/mo or $60/yr, or volunteer work/trade). 2) SE Portland: Bikes For Humanity PDX sells/gives rejuvenated bikes away to folks who need them. Also entirely volunteer-run. Shoot them an email or drop by during their hours to inquire about this. Just off SE Cesar Chavez Blvd, on SE Brooklyn (between Powell & Division).
