Debbie E. replied:
She was recommend by my best friend. She took care of her 16 yr old dog. I was there when we had to let her go at the vet. Dr. Mac and her staff were REALLY REALLY good, patience, and caring.
Nancy D. replied:
I trust my baby to Dr Yuhan at Highland Village Pet Hospital. He will spend as much time with you and your pet as needed and will explain things to you until you are comfortable with any treatment that is recommended. His staff is also amazing. Dr McAn ally is good also, but I felt that Dr Yuhan was much more informative when my dog was sick. McAnally asked me what I wanted her to do, Yuhan told me what needed to be done.
Debbie E. replied:
Dr. McAnally gives you options on how far you want treatment when it's a dire situation. She is very informative and helpful. My dog really likes her!!!!
Does anyone know of an honest vet, one who doesn't take advantage of you because they know you care and love your pet.
Kathy M. replied:
I take my dog to the Redlands Animal Hospital. We see Dr. Blanchard. When we adopted our senior dog, she needed eye surgery. The first surgery wasn't as successful as the Dr. Had hoped, so she did a second surgery, but didn't charge me for her services. I only paid for the anesthesia and meds. I thought this spoke volumes for the Dr. wanting to do what was right, not how could she get more money.
Liz K. replied:
I really like Highland Village Pet Hospital. 909-864-7387. Dr. Cho was wonderful to our shepard mix.
Alex S. replied:
Deb Morey no I am not looking for a cheap vet, just one I can trust. I've lost confidence in our current vet. The vet tells me my pets have certain maladies and prescribes meds. I Google the diagnosis and my pets do not and are not exhibiting the symptoms. My pets are senior citizens to be sure, one is 16 and the other is 11. And they are showing symptoms of old age not any specific disease.
Dayna S. replied:
Dr A at Banfield is wonderful with Wesley
Brenda W. replied:
Northside vet in San Bernardino is fabulous.
Alex S. replied:
Deb Morey, hence my inquiry.
Jennifer M. replied:
Dr. Blanchard at Redlands animal hospital.
Laydee M. replied:
I like Dr. Chan at Arrowview Animal Hospital in Highland - super smart with good options with a new education. Dr. Sig is ok at Loma Linda Animal hospital - but he is old school - so he really is not up on the most modern approaches and treatments and so many animals I have pick up new diseases if they have to stay over at their office for more than a few hours.

Kim H. replied:
3 rd vote for Dr. Sig at Loma Linda animal hospital. Our family has been going to him for 20+ years. He is a wonderful diagnostician, his prices are reasonable (on the lower end in my opinion), and it's walk in basis. They've always been honest and helped our pets a lot over the years
Any recommendations on a local vet? Specifically for neutering. I have not been happy with the vets I have tried.

I have owned a local pet sitting business for 9 1/2 years and have had first hand experience with most of the local Veterinarians with either my or my client's animals and I HIGHLY recommend VCA Northside Veterinary Clinic in San Bernardino. It's a little bit of a drive, but worth it! Their entire team is great!!!
Maggie W. replied:
We've taken our pets to Northside Vet in San Bernardino for the last 7 years. We still drive out there from Redlands because the vets are absolutely amazing, loving to the animals, and take all the time owners need to get all questions answered.

Alex S. replied:
Thank you Deanna. That's what my girl has, groomer anxiety. The latter was brought to my attention several years ago by staff at Rensaissance Pet Resort in Banning where I kennel my pets when they can't travel with me. I have them groomed their when they stay. My Corgi-mix, Bella, seemingly, has no problems and doesn't "fight" me when I leave her.

I take Magnum to Alta Groomers in Upland on 15 th st and Campus. They take good care of him every time he goes in. I know it's far, but the girls are awesome. Average about $31 for shampoo and grooming on my large Siberian.

I go to Pet Scene. I had trouble with the other place I was going. Also heard a lot of bad stuff about the place. I was so concerned when I took my baby to Pet scene. I meet Bonnie and some of the staff. WOW they really care about my dog. They made him feel comfortable they picked him up and loved on him. I even got to go back and watch her trim his bottom to make sure it was how I liked it. I love the fact that he is not there for hours. I make my appt. I get there a little before it. They tell me how long it will take and they call when he is ready. he never comes home and drinks a bowl of water now. He is so happy there. I love the staff there. I wish I knew all of there names.
