Mechanic for routine maintenance? I have a 2013 civic that I bought a few years ago and I'd like to take good care of it. I think it could use a multi-point inspection,...

Likely needs a new battery. Brake pads and rotors most likely. If you're a little skilled and have basic tools you can definitely change these yourself. If you have a multimeter you can determine if it is the battery or the alternator. These are beginner jobs, mechanic wise. If you'd rather pay someone to do it, I've heard good things about Landrys too.

Regina Muffler and Brake is awesome. Reasonable rates and they won’t try to screw you. Very good shop. Wherever you decide to go, avoid the dealer. The prices dealers charge are ridiculous.

Yeah good call to look for someone else. The local Honda dealership is kind of sketchy. I end up getting my routine stuff done in Swift Current.

I took my accord into the Honda dealer for a warranty replacement. I had just bought it 3 months prior. They informed me that my brake pads were pretty much gone and SGI would be not happy if they let me drive it out of there without getting new ones. Took it home after a fight and looked at the previous owners bills that she gave me. Pads and rotors had been changed 8 months prior. Took off the wheels to double check and they all looked brand new.
