Can anyone recommend a good local interior designer?

Brian Runge from Caplevalti Design. He's an architectural designer. He's pricier but I've heard you get what you pay for in the designing world. 306-536-6981. That's who we use. He designed both Ambassador Coffee Boutiques for us. Good luck!

Interior designers? I am looking for interior designers in the city. New house that I would LOVE to get help with from a decorator. Any and all recommendations welcome!

I've had great, great experiences with Metric and Atmosphere.
Metric does a fabulous job of finding whatever you need in any price range. Truly - not like "whatever price range as long as your budget is fancy" but they really have a phenomenal selection at all price points. But you're not remotely limited to off the rack, conservative budget products, either! They have a great selection.
Atmosphere...is less conscious of budgets. But they do great work and are a pleasure to work with - just be confident in your comfort zone and ask for alternatives if needed. I would say that they design more for pretty and less for functional, bless their hearts. But a pleasure to work with and beautiful results!

Cara at Metric Design was great, listened to what I wanted and stayed in my budget, would definitely recommend talking to her.

Just a note. Your title says interior designer but then ask for a decorator. They are two different professions. You are right in wanting a decorator, plus that will be more affordable. Like someone mentioned many of the interior stores like metric offer that service. I’d do some research online first to ensure their styles match yours. And also know what your budget is, it can get expensive.

Go see Tamara or Brandon at Metric Design. They’re both great!
