I had Northern Tree just take a tree out in my backyard in the spring. Price was competitive and they did a pretty good job of cleaning everything up.

We used Tillotson Tree Removal to get a 50 ft spruce cut down last year and their price was $500 cheaper than anyone else while having great customer service. We had a quote done in April and called in the fall and they honoured their quote and got the job done on the day they said they would.

Sawyer’s Trees & Landscapes is great. They do tree removal, pruning, maintenance, etc. as well as more general landscaping work. They use actual arborists and do the work properly and safely. Last May I had a tree that I thought would probably have to be cut down because a major branch had broken right at the trunk and the tree looked like it was dying. They gave us a quote the day after we called, told us they could save the tree, and came back the same week we confirmed. They cut off the broken branch, did some pruning and arborist magic, and the tree was better than ever by August. It was surprisingly inexpensive too, under $200 including removing the dead branch (which was over 20 feet long and probably 15 across its own sub-branches).

V.j. tree removal did two very large trees in my front yard. They were quick, easy to communicate with and did a great job for a reasonable price.
