Thanks all. Ann - if looking between Memorial Day and Labor Day weeks, you're unlikely to find less than 7 night minimum stays. If outside of those dates, try a few date ranges. For all our properties, our rates are setup off season that the longer you stay, the less you pay. One additional night can make a BIG difference in rates. Lots of $avings! Thanks, Andy www.downtownbeachrentals.com
Lazy L bet Lewes and Milton is friendliest. In town the Black Hog Farmstead, Dogfish Inn, and Inn at Canal Square have dog rooms. There are so many on Coastal Highway that you can just search Trip Advisor. Sleep Inn and Suites is closest to Lewes. There are some in Rehoboth and a bunch in Dewey.

Betty - a client just told me about www.bringfido.com which rates dog friendly hotels. She used it and found Atlantic Oceanside Motel in Dewey (rated five bones!) where she stayed for two nights. She said it was great and very reasonable.

Looking for a good doggie hotel, last minute.. any recommendations of good places for two dogs?
Joanne M. replied:
It may be out of the way, but we used the boarding facility at First State Animal Shelter in Camden when our one and only go-to kennel was booked. It's a separate building from the shelter dogs' building.

I'm flying out of Philadelphia airport in Dec and have a very early flight. Looking for a hotel that offers a free shuttle to the airport. I don't need anything fancy,...
Rebecca T. replied:
My family and I like the Embassy Suites at the PHL aiprort. It is not terribly fancy, but it is clean and reasonably priced. You can find some good deals if you search. They have a complimentary shuttle and I feel like my car is safe in their gated lot. The staff has been very friendly and accommodating, and they have a complimentary happy hour each night in the lobby. Our meals at the restaurant have always been good, too. http://www.reservations.com/hotel/embassy-suites-philadelphia-airport?gclid=CJzwxICy9 s8CFUgmhgodwn0MvA
