I've been desperately craving chocolate cake, not that artificial flavor type of chocolate cake, but the real deal! With homemade fudge and ganache, maybe dulce de leche...

Wedding cake recommendations Looking for any recommendations for bakeries that make great wedding cakes. Planning on a tiny wedding, 15 people. Anyone have experience...

I teach at the community college and have a student who makes AMAZING cakes. PM me if you’d like her info.

We used Delicious Designs for our wedding. We had about 30 people. Ordered a cake for 60 but could have fed 100. And the cake was amazing, really beautiful and affordable. People still ask me about that cake a year and a half later.

If cakes aren’t a high priority for you two, like it wasn’t for us, consider Safeway. We did a simple white three layer cake (for 100 ppl) and stuck extra flowers in them (ends covered in floral tape). It looked great and got the job done :)[similar to this](https://images.app.goo.gl/NfsX9ZARcN4QFV5 d8)
We chose to have pies for our wedding, but we dealt with mix bake shop and could not have asked for a better experience. They have delicious cupcakes, while I can’t say with 100% certainty they do wedding cakes... It’s worth looking.

I used the Eldorado bakery (inside the casino) and it was really good. Loved the cake with the strawberry filling the most. But we didn't do much shopping around because by the time we got to cakes it was more like "tastes like a cake? Alright let's get it."

We got our cake from Whole Foods. They do designs and everything. It was super cheap compared to traditional wedding cake prices. We paid about $250 for a 2 tier cake and 2 sheet cakes.

Josef's Vienna cafe made a really amazing cake for a large event, looks like they do wedding cakes too. If I remember correctly it was lemon raspberry. They have flavors and sizes listed on their website

Delicious Designs! Small cute local place by Meadowood mall! The cake tasting was an incredible expirience. Leanne the owner is so sweet and will work with you to make it the cake of your dreams. Good luck and congrats!!

We didn't do a wedding cake (we had a fake one for pics as we don't really like cake.) For our wedding. Instead we had a desert "bar" that my folks got the stuff from Bavarian World.

Isabels bakery in Sparks did ours! They were able to give us a tie dyed cake on the inside and really worked with what we wanted. Plus, it was delicious
Can anybody recommend a good locally owned bakery in Reno?

Another good one especially if u like the less sweet flavor of Mexican cakes ( which I do) is the Mexican store Marketon on Wells. I believe they bake fresh there

El Pueblo Mexican Bakery: Sixth and Wells behind the gas station. Very good French rolls as well. Good variety, they bake all day long. Place goodies in a plastic bag and tie to avoid from drying out and getting hard. A quick zap in a microwave oven and good as new (10-12 seconds).
Yesterday's Cash Mob and Franz's Backstube Austrian Bakery was a great success and very much appreciated by the folks there. Thanks to all you members of the group who...
Does anyone live in the Reno/Sparks area and can point me to a wholesale bakery for buns? I need to order a bunch. Tried looking some up on line without much luck.
