My husband and I are going in a cruise is September to half moon cay, st. Thomas, Puerto Rico, and the grand Turks. We are wondering if anyone has ever been to these...

Half Moon Cay is Carnival's private island. It has a beautiful beach and crystal clear water. The ship provides a BBQ on the island. Don't book an expensive excursion. It's a totally free island. Grand Turk has a great beach with chairs right off the ship. You can rent snorkeling equipment right there. If you go snorkeling, there is a cannon and anchor out there. There is also resort pool that is free to all cruise passengers. These are two of my favorite island because they don't cost anything if you just want to enjoy the beach.

I'm from PR and there are so many things to do but it all depends how long you'll be there. I found this article hopefully is helpful. I'm so jealous! If you will be there for just a day el Morro, food, and shopping will be the best. Enjoy!!! http://www.cruisecritic.com/ports/newport.cfm?ID=8

I've been to all but half moon cay. St Thomas and grand turks are perfect for snorkeling! We took our own snorkeling gear and it worked fine. Puerto Rico is a good place to walk around and look at the shops and old churches depending on how much time you have. All three places are awesome!

Been to all of them! El Yunque rainforest in Puerto Rico is awesome. I also suggest snorkeling in St Thomas, it's beautiful!
