Ok fellow RV lovers. I need some advice. I'm looking for RV insurance for my Class A. It's been sitting for the past 2 years and the Ins. had lapsed. But I'm itching to...
Christine K. replied:
check out Blue Sky - very reasonable. we used to have National which once was GMAC but they kept raising rates. Blue Sky for same coverage we had is little over $300. cheeper than Good Sam & Progressive.
David A. replied:
Try Hartford Ins. through AARP the insure my 5 th wheel
Pamela S. replied:
We HAD a great rate with Good Sam GMAC, but once it became National General, they nearly doubled our rate. Just switched to State Farm at half NG's rate. We are fulltimers, though. Coach, truck, and Harley through State Farm.
Glenna L. replied:
We have State Farm for everything and they gave us the best rate. Full value coverage on a Class A motor home plus emergency roadside assistance.
Sandy C. replied:
We live in Texas. Found the company when we purchased a Kodiak 4500 as a tow vehicle. All insurance would only insure as a commercial. Blue Sky insured as a tow vehicle and covered the RV. Good price.
Steve C. replied:
Give Explore RV a call - www.explorerRV.com - they just saved me $400 a yr off of Progressive who I had for the past 4 yr., for identical coverage.
Linda K. replied:
We use Explorer, and would recommend them. http://www.explorerrv.com/rv-insurance/
Any local recommendations for a hardwood floor contractor? A small(ish) job but good craftsmanship a must. Go!
Andy C. replied:
After the water damage we had our done by classic floors, http://www.classicfloorsohio.com/ , they did a very nice job with a custom finished floor. Very good quality lumber (Sheoga, which is manufactured locally in Middlefield).
