Also, Pap's Place in Ackerman has some of the best home cooked options. They aren't a catering restaurant, as in come and set up and/or deliver, but if you call Cherry Sally (pronounced like the fruit) she can fix just about anything you want. Ackerman is only 25 min from Starkville. The number is 662.285.6352 I have used her for several years.
