Hi everyone, I was wondering if anybody could recommend a great vet that has a sound knowledge of Frenchies in the Port Melb area?
Brett T. replied:
D'Artagnan goes to Danny Jedwab at the Hampton Vetrinary Clinic. It's a schlep but he delivered the little boy and is D's breeder's vet of choice for Frenchies.
Augustus N. replied:
Port Phillip Animal Hospital on Mills St, Albert Park. They're really, really good - especially Craig there - and lots of experience with Frenchies.

As an owner and breed of frenchies I wouldn't use anyone else than Monash Vet Clinic, (Dandenong Road Oakleigh) knowledgable with frenchies and used by lots of frenchie owners and breeders. It is important to use someone who is very good with our breed and if that means you have to travel it will be worth it.

We go to Advanced vet care in Kensington 9092 0400, they are an amazing team with all top diagnostic machines (ie.catscans, etc) & specialists at their fingertips. Steven Holloway has taught virtually every vet in Australia & is like a dog-whisperer, h e diagnoses the most complex conditions & has been saving our Frenchies lives with severe problems for the past 14 years. Without him we woild have lost them years ago. They don't come better. He also has extensive contacts internationally to make further diagnosis. I highly recommend them & a few of the guys from DOPM already go there too bc they're so amazing. Good luck, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Same here. We see Mark at Monash Vet Clinic too and go to Port Melb Vet for "quickies"/emergencies. MVC are very good with bullies but like u say, a bit far to travel from PM.
