Deborah Whiting, check out Taylor's needs! Taylor, a simple tip from a web designer who used to design logos, the best way for you to get more bang for your buck is to search, narrow down, and provide samples of logos that you like. Make sure they share a similar look and feel (i.e. funky as opposed to corporate). The more concise direction you can provide at the beginning will save the designer time (less revisions) and thus you money in the end! ;) Good luck!
