It's really about these ideals of beauty being sold to us everyday. Marketing isn't just about a product, and the power of a single photo on the cover of a magazine is extraordinary. Whether we should or not, we compare ourselves to an ideal that isn't even real for the actual person. Cindy Crawford once said she wished she looked like Cindy Crawford, and that was before Photoshop. I worry for the tween and teen girls especially.
