Rita, I can't say enough good things about Dr. Lisette Baechtold here in Richmond -- 626-7977. We paid out-of-pocket for Meredith to go to her for several years, rather than take her to someone that was "in plan" for us (and wouldn't have cost us anything). Our dental insurance changed, and the whole family goes to her, "in plan".:o)

We go to White House Clinic Dental, they have a sliding fee scale (based on your income/household size) and they let you make payments. We use them for basic dental stuff like cleanings and fillings but for any "advanced" dental things we use Rodney Coleman in Richmond and like him a lot.

I go to Dr. Ed Brents in Berea for my dental work! They're very nice and it's a good christian environment! Then for a dental surgeon, I went to the place in richmond behind the nissan dealership for my wisdom teeth, they were nice!

I love Dr. Gambrel and staff by outback. He's ex-military and very funny and has your best interest in mind when creating a dental plan with you. He has a great way of explaining things to you and doesn't care about how much time it takes. I should do a commercial. haha

sign up for kynect health and dental insurance, This is the insurance Obama has in place. You pick your coverage. Whitehouse Clinic in Richmond has a dental clinic and they will put you on a sliding fee. However, if you use this KYNECT I think its real inexpensive to have dental work done

I use Dr. Mattingly for my dentist and I love him and his office staff. They have ran behind schedule a couple of times and called me to let me know so I wouldn't have to sit and wait on them. I have never had a dentist do that before. I thought it was very considerate.
