Camp Thunderbird at the Y? I know swift creek has a lot of wooded outdoor activities.

Suggestions on where to donate lightly/never-used school supplies in Richmond? While swept up in the Marie Kondo wave that's taking over the nation, I started sorting...

Any school, especially those in the city. Just stop in the office with a box of stuff and let them know it is a donation of school supplies for any teacher that needs them.
skimjim180 replied:
Not sure if this is near you, but I know [Scrap RVA](https://scraprva.org/) takes school and office supplies. They are on Brookland Park Boulevard. When I have donated craft supplies I was able to just take it in, drop them off and head right back out.
tmgieger replied:
If you have any free time M-F 9 am-130 pm, easiest thing would be your local public school. Swing by and ring the bell for the office.
sarahshift1 replied:
Chesterfield has a "teacher store" called Crayons to Computers where people can donate stuff and teachers can go pick up free supplies for their classroom. Or just walk into the main office and tell them you want to donate this box of supplies.

If you know an elementary school teacher then you can usually give them things if you tell them beforehand
