Stunned! Just found out Matthew has a level 5 peanut allergy! Dr called in an Epi Pen... $771! Obama care sucks! Anyone have a good allergist?

I love Dr.Marotta!! I miss him at Allergy and Asthma specialist in Riverdale . He helped Mike so much. Now he's in Wyckoff.

He's a wimp https://www.facebook.com/jim.affinito he said it has to be over 45 degrees

How are you getting this epi pen so cheap? https://www.facebook.com/erynnmom4 kidshttps://www.facebook.com/heather.morsekeenehttps://www.facebook.com/lindacervino . I have a script for both the epi pen and Auvi-Q. Have to wait until Friday to call our insurance company, this is going to be so crazy expensiv e, from what i can tell on the website they won't cover the allergist or additional bloodwork. The Dr gave me a coupon but when you read the fine print it takes off $100, so now it will be $671. Have any of you ever had to use it?
Carol V. replied:
https://www.facebook.com/lindacervino We have Amerihealth and I think its the worst plan they offer. Your lucky Craig works for a big company, I think that's the only way you get decent coverage. From what I understand we pay out of pocket until we each reach our $5000 deductible and we can't go out of network. It's horrible, I'm so stressed out the more I read about nut allergies the worse this gets. It's so scary!

Linda C. replied:
Thats who we use, Dr. Ruth Gold. Maybe they have them on hand. They gave my kids Symbicort which costs us about $40 each, for free. Tell her your insurance is terrible. Im sure she'll be able to help.

Carol, Victoria is high peanut allergy too. I'll have to have her watch Matthew now what he eats because she is very good at asking for years now if it contains peanuts. I never had to use the epi pen on her yet. When you get them tell them you want the talking one. I pay $40 for two of them, but the school is also going to want two so it may cost you. It contains a practice one. It sounds hard but it seems very simple if you have to use it. Victoria goes right in Riverdale on rt 23 by the old circle EMS building. Dr. Gold. They are NJ Allergy Doctor & Asthma Center. They also have an office in Saddle River. Riverdale office is 973-831-5799. Ask for coupons because they have a box on their desk of coupons on these.
