Anyone know of a good garage door repairman I could call right now? (I get that I'll probably have to wait until tomorrow, but I'm still going to try...)

Crystal, the issue with our door is that one of the cables came off the spool. Once I learned how, that was easy enough to fix, but this is not the first time it has happened so there is an underlying issue. We looked into it and it sounds like an expe rt is needed for working with the springs. (At first, I thought I would be a man and try to fix it all myself, but then I learned those springs are powerful enough to do serious damage or kill someone if something goes wrong.) My friend Tyler is co-owner of Evco Development ( http://evcodevelopment.com/ ) so he's no slouch. I trust his recommendation. He said Central Utah Door is good too. I'll include their link in a comment below. He needs someone to work on his garage door too and he said he could give them all of our information. Private message Tyler directly with your contact info if you want in. You may want to add him as a friend first so your message doesn't go to spam.

We used All star & they were great! They fixed our wiring issue as part of the trip fee. Other companies I called were were charging for minor labor stuff on top of their trip fee. All Star Garage Doors801-763-1114
