Roanokers, I'm looking for a really good massage therapist, male or female. Whom do you recommend?
Jan T. replied:
Been going to Patrick Beale for over ten years. He's awesome. Also one of the finest friends ever. He's at Roanoke River Massage in Grand in Gardens next to post office. Give him a call Joe.

Ann Egge, Mountain Star Therapy, does an excellent job.

GUARANTEE you will love this person and she can help you. She fixed my nearly frozen shoulder and she also fixed my brother's back. She does what is called a "medical massage" and she is a registered nurse with a ton of credentials. She knows every tendon and muscle in the human body. Her name is Carrollynn Miller -- located in the Cave Spring area on Brambleton. You can schedule an appointment on line at: https://crystalshealinghandsmassage.fullslate.com/

Depends what you want. Patrick Beale (in Grandin gardens) gives the best massage - deep relaxation and he's very intuitive. He will not dig at you and cause pain the next day like some others. He's gentle, kind, and healing. And very very good at releasing knots. Another great option is Kimball S. Egge. He's helped my hips like no one else - he found a way to get his healing hands deep into the muscle without any discomfort. He's a master with essential oils and very knowledgeable about the body and how everything (mental/physical/spiritual/nutrition/ etc) affects you. He also does energy work. He's really really good.
