Dr. Colleen McCafferty at Huffard Animal Hospital in Pasadena, Md., is the only vet I trust with my boys. When Woodward had a mass under his nipple a few years ago, she removed it. When she found another one under the other, she didn't charge extra to remove that one. She did the same thing when his brother, Bernstein, developed two masses. I trust her completely.

Monica Buchwald Farno he is 22 pounds as of last Thursday. Charmin is adorable as well! Funny how they all grow so differently from the same litter.
Monica F. replied:
Michele - our labradoodle has an issue with chicken. Very loose stool. We started feeding him Fromm and eventually switched Charmin over. It's a grain free food and you can interchange flavors with no transition. This way the dogs don't get bored with their food and/or develope any allergies to one specific ingredient. They love Beef Fratta and we're currently feeding lamb with peas. My boys are so food motivated that they would eat anything but I rather feed them the best stuff I can. Poor Charmin can't have his breakfast today because he's getting snipped today. My poor baby.
Anthea M. replied:
Hi Michelle. Have you tried Earthborn? You can purchase it from Petflow.com and they will deliver to your door. I have always used Life's Abundance and was recommended Earthborn by the breeder of my new puppy, who uses it in her program. The ingredients are comparable and Whisper has solid stools. Failing that, another of my dogs has an allergy to chicken and "the honest kitchen's" "VERVE" was recommended. Instant results with all her problems. The food comes in 4 lb and 10 lb bags and as it's dehydrated it has to be reconstituted with water. A little goes a long way and all my dogs love it. You can add a bit of kibble for crunch but be careful because it would be easy to over feed. They think they are eating leftovers because "The Honest Kitchen" foods are made of human grade ingredients. Good luck.
Monica F. replied:
Also, you nay want to research which companies have had recalls and where some of the food sources come from. Even if the food is made in the USA the food source comes from China. Fromm is a family owned business and sources all their food locally and has never had a recall. Doodlekisses.com is a great resource for food recommendations as well. There is a whole page dedicated to it called the food group. I think their first choice is Orijen, Acana etc. they have done tons and tons of research on this topic.
Michele M. replied:
Thank you for all of your recommendations. Monica Buchwald Farno I will check out the doodlekisses website and Lois Boor good suggestion with the pumpkin Amy Lane also suggested the pumpkin which I tried for a couple of days and we had no better results unfortunately. I guess it will be trial and error. I hope everyone has a great week!
