Yikes Sarah.. Hope yours is better now. They seem to come every year this time. Treating the yard and under the house professionally may be the answer. Thanks everyone for your advice. Like to keep it local and to hear your opinions. Plus who is quick to respond.

We use Clear Defense. I failed in the battle against ants too: we even had fire ants INSIDE my house! I tried all the usual stuff, other companies failed (the Orkin guy was obviously super annoyed that I wanted him to deal with the fire ants). Clear Defense got it right away. It does take at least 2 visits though, 1 st one to set bait traps, 2 nd to put down preventative stuff so they don't come back.
