I know when I used to volunteer at MN Valley Humane Society (now closed) we used to offer a class where people could come and have supervised play. It was kind of like a training and play group in one. It was really good. I'd look around and see if something similar exists up here. If not, research the daycare first. My favorite is Woofdah, but it is in Burnsville and too far to travel. I've also used Pampered Pooch Playground in SLP if you work near the area that would be a good option, too. I haven't used any places up here yet though.
