The family I au paired for in Rome are both dentists. If you don't mind taking the 15 min train to Ciampino, both are fluent in english & great at what they do. One is a dental surgeon as well, so if you ever need anything more intensive their rates are very competitive. http://www.studionocs.it/

As Domenico De Martinis said, if you are a EU citizen you are entitled to inexpensive medical care in Italy as well, I suggest you look into the almost free services given at Estman hospital in front of Policlinico. You just have to register with a doctor at your local public health centre. Good luck
